Born in Brazil and raised in the culturally diverse city of Corona, California, I grew up surrounded by flavors and cuisines from all over the world. That upbringing shaped an obsession with food that never went away. I went on to spend years teaching science, where explaining complex concepts in simple, digestible terms became second nature — a skill that would later define my entire approach to cooking content.
During the pandemic, I started documenting my kitchen experiments online under the name NOFLAKEYSALT — breaking down the food science behind viral recipes in a way that was actually useful, not just entertaining. The videos took off. My movie theater popcorn recipe crossed 50 million views. The Wingstop ranch hit 20 million. Across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, my content has now surpassed 1 billion views — a milestone that caught the attention of FOX producers and landed me a spot on Season 1 of Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef.
